Thomas Porker

Director – Principal

Tom has a Bachelor Degree in Business majoring in Accounting and Economics from Monash University. He has extensive accounting and business advisory services over his 44 year career, 30 of which have been in private/public practice, which has included working for the State Bank, State Electricity Commission and Legal Practice. He established his own practice in 1995 and is the founding Director of BTP Business Advisors. Tom is a real problem solver and never wavers when given a challenge. Specialising in business advisory and strategic planning services, Tom guides business owners to grow their business and ultimately their personal wealth.

Manager

Ben has been a Senior Accountant with BTP Business Advisors since its inception in 2010. Ben has over 10 years experience as a CPA in public practice in firms within the Macedon Ranges and Melbourne. He is a people person who enjoys building personal relationships with clients and is keen to always keep learning and evolving in the industry. He has extensive experience in the tax advisory service area as well as being self-managed superannuation fund advice compliant. Ben lives in Gisborne with his wife Jaymie and their much loved Siberian huskies, Woof and Bowie.

Samantha is a true local, having lived in Kyneton her whole life. She came to BTP Business Advisors in 2011, after extensive experience in the motor and transport industries for over 19 years. Samantha is very patient, caring and has a good eye for detail. She mainly works in business compliance and supports the business advisory team. She lives with her partner Ged and enjoys travelling.
